My Beauty Time Capsule - Makeup

I totally got this idea from a model recommends. So I thought I would do my own version of everything I'd put into my beauty time capsule. Today I'm focusing on makeup. I plan on doing skincare to. Obviously I know beauty products won't keep for a significant amount of time. But should I wake up in 2000 years these are the products I'd quite like to wake up to.

Too Faced Hungover Primer | £27 | REVIEW

Now primer was a tough choice because I rotate them quite regularly depending on how my skin is or the foundation I'm using. But I've chosen this offering from Too Faced. Because I have dehydrated skin most of the time a good hydrating primer is essential for making my foundation look good. This one is so hydrating and gives my skin a natural glow to. It also works well with all my favourite foundations. Plus if my skin is more on the normal side it works well to. It's just a great all rounder.

Huda Beauty Faux Filter Foundation | £32 | REVIEW

If I had a written this post 6 months ago I would totally picked my trusty LA Girl Pro HD Foundation. But I think this has taken its place as my favourite foundation. I just love the coverage and flawlessness this leaves my skin looking. The coverage is so full it pretty much covers everything. It wears so well on me to. The finish can either be made matter or more dewy depending on your preference. No matter what my skin looks like or how it's feeling this foundation just makes it look flawless. It's such a good foundation. And one I can't see myself without for a long time.

Tarte Shape Tape Concealer | £22

For concealer it would have to my trusty Tarte Shape Tape. This super full coverage concealer covers everything from to dark circles to pigmentation. I love this for concealing my dark circles, I have a shade a few shades lighter than my foundation to really brighten the under eyes. This stuff lasts all day without cracking caking or fading. Another product that I just wouldn't want to be without.

Hourglass Ambient Light Powders | £59 | REVIEW

These are hands down my favourite powders ever! They set my makeup perfectly and leave my skin with a gorgeous lit from within glow. These aren't like highlighters though, it gives the skin a healthy effect. These are perfect for my dry skin, they don't ever leave my skin feeling dry or tight. These are pricy but so worth the investment.

Urban Decay Naked Heat Palette | £39.50 | REVIEW

Eyeshadow was also a tough choice for me, I have so many palettes that I love. But majority of the time I go for a very warmed eye look. And you don't get more warm toned than this palette! It has a range of creamy, pigmented matte shades and some shimmer shades. This is perfect for creating a bold eye look or something more subtle. I only wish there was a matte Black shade.

Anastasia Beverly Hills X Amrezy Highlighter | £29 | REVIEW

I love a highlighter. It's a makeup essential that I just can't be without. But if I had to pick one to put into a time capsule it would be this beauty from ABH. The formula and shade are simply amazing. The shade is a very versatile Champagne colour with a subtle Gold under toner. It looks beautiful on, it doesn't contain any glitter just beautiful shimmers that catch the light perfectly. The formula is like a gel powder that applies perfectly to the high points of the face.

L'oreal Baby Roll Mascara | £7.99

For mascara it would have to be this L'oreal baby roll mascara. It's just a mascara that I know I can rely on for length, volume and wear time.

Mac Velvet Teddy | £14.88 | REVIEW

Lip products were another tough category! But I opted for my old favourite Velvet Teddy. The shade is a perfect nude on my skintone. It's not too Pink nor to Brown. It's the perfect in the middle shade. It's from the MAC Matte line. Which I really rate. The formula is super pigmented, matte and long lasting. Plus I just can't be without a nude shade.

ColourPop Lip Gloss | $6

I would include a gloss too because my lips get super dry and I just love a glossy finish. Moon Child from ColourPop has to be one of my favourite shades ever. The formula isn't gloopy or sticky and it gives the lips a high shine finish. The shade is a sheer Brown nude colour. It goes with any makeup and it's the perfect throw on and go shade.

NYX Micro Brow Pencil | £9

Finally I would include a brow pencil. Because everyone needs a brow pencil! This one from NYX is by far my favourite. It has a super fine tip that makes mimicking hairs really easy. The formula is not to stiff or waxy and glides on the skin easily. But it doesn't smudge or smear. It's a great little product.

So I think that's everything I would put in a time capsule.

What would you put in yours?

Until next time...
