My Ultimate Recommendations To Check Out From Makeup Revolution

Makeup Revolution launch products like there's no tomorrow. Which isn't a bad thing but I do find it hard to keep up. I do try to make an order every now and again. They're a super affordable brand so you get a lot for your money. That being said I do find some of their products aren't great and you'll probably be better off paying a bit extra. So today I have a little edit of the best stuff I've tried from the brand.

Conceal & Define Concealer | £4 | REVIEW

This concealer is one of the best things to happen to the affordable makeup aisles. I mean MUR completely changed the game when they launched this concealer in a huge 19 shades, they've even added more shades to the collection recently. And this costs just £4! But this concealer is actually really good. It has really good, full coverage in a light creamy formula. It works well under the eyes and on blemishes or discolouration. This is actually a really good dupe for the Tarte Shape Tape concealer, see this post for more details.

Foundation Drops | £7

These foundation drops are another one of MUR new launches. Which comes in 18 shades. I wasn't expecting much from these but they are actually really good! It's a super watery foundation that comes with a pipette applicator. It blends so easily to the skin, with a brush or beauty blender. The finish is satin and it looks very natural on the skin. The coverage is light to medium but build-able. It doesn't cling to any problem areas it just looks really flawless and natural. A kind of your skin but better foundation.

Soph Highlighter Palette | £8 | REVIEW

I've had little luck with affordable highlighters, I just find high end ones so much better. But this palette is easily on par with them. It houses 8 highlighters in a variety of shades and finishes. I think there will be something for every skin tone. in terms of formula each shade is so soft and finely milled. There's no chunkiness to them and apply beautifully on the face. Overall, this palette is a real winner.

New-Trails vs Neutrals | £6.99

This is one of my old school favourites from Makeup Revolution. This palette is so so good! The shades are just perfect. It has a good mix of warm and natural shades. Each shade is so buttery and pigmented. The mattes are incredible for a drugstore palette. Each shade blends and layers with each other so well. They wear all day without creasing on me to. This is actually a really good dupe for the Anastasia Beverly Hills Modern Renaissance palette, See my comparison here.

Radiance Palette | £8

If you're OG reader you'll know how much I used to love these powders. And even today I still reach for these. Inside the palette are 3 super subtle highlighters or finishing powders. I personally love these as finishing powders because they give the skin such a lovely lit from within glow. They're actually a good dupe of the Hourglass Ambient Light powders (see this post). I have dehydrated skin so I really struggle with powders but these are great for setting my makeup, without causing my skin to dry out.

Renaissance Lip Liner | £2.50 | REVIEW

Last but not least are these lip liners. Which are incredible! The formula is so creamy and easy to draw onto the lips, they don't tug or pull the lips at all. They're also pigmented too, they could actually be worn alone. I also find they last such a long time and help keep my lipstick on longer. I have a few shades but my favourite one is VOW, which is a gorgeous warm toned Terracotta colour. It goes with all my favourite nude shades.

There's a few of my ultimate recommendations from Makeup Revolution.
