Pixis Glow-Getters

Pixi is a brand that really excites me. Not only are their new launches trend lead but they are actually what people want and that will work for most people. Their new makeup launches are definitely one to write home about. Today I'm going to share my thoughts on them.

Liquid Fairy Lights* | £15 (each)

Liquid eyeshadows are really having a moment in the beauty world. And for good reason. They're seriously pigmented and really give a foiled, shimmery finish that packs a punch. I have 5 shades from Pixi's new collection which can either be worn alone, blended out with a matte or as an eyeshadow topper. The shades are..

Crystaline - is a White iridescent glitter. I find this works better as an eyeshadow topper. The glitter really catches the light and gives the lids some sparkle.

SunRay - is a really pretty Yellow Gold with glitter in it. Blended out this does go a little sheer and just leaves behind glitter so I prefer this as an eyeshadow topper. It looks beautiful over a Gold.

Rosegold - is a pretty Pink colour with a hint of Rose Gold in it. This doesn't contain as much glitter as the others. It looks really pretty though. I like to apply this all over the lid and blend it out with a matte colour.

BareBrilliance - is a Copper colour with Silver glitter in it. This looks beautiful all over the lid. It works well blended out with a another colour or as a shadow topper for something extra shimmery.

Passion Light - This is my favourite shade. It's a gorgeous warm toned, rich colour. This is the most pigmented out all the shades and it works well no matter which way I use it.

Once all the shades have set they do not budge all day! They are very watery so I was a little concerned that they move eyeshadows underneath them but I didn't have a problem with that. I love the intense impact these give. So if you're looking for some super glittery then definitely check these out.

Glow-y Gossamer Duo* | £20 (each)

Pixi's Santorini Sunset highlighter is one of my favourites ever so I was super excited to see the launch of these Glow-y Duo's. There are two shades available:

Delicate Dew - This contains a Golden Rose colour and a silvery colour with a very slight Rose undertone. Both the shades are beautiful and work well layered together or used alone. They look beautiful on the skin and catch the light perfectly. Neither of the shades contain any glitter and they are not chunky at all. To swatch they feel buttery soft.

Subtle Sunrise - this duo contains a Rose Golden shade and a Yellow Gold. Both are really pretty and work well on my light to medium skin tone, although if you have a darker complexion I think this would be the better option of the two. The formula is equally as good as Delicate Dew.

I'm obessed with these highlighters. The formula is so good. And I love how you can layer them.

Overall, these new launches are a real winner. I really can't recommend everything enough.

Both the Fairy Lights and Glowy highlighters are available from Look Fantastic and Cult Beauty.

Have you tried any of these? Are you tempted?

Until next time...
