Switching out the products in my makeup bag is one of my favourite things to do. It's rare that I am loyal to a product for that long. But I have a few products that I just keep coming back to - I've tried to switch them out but I just can't seem to find products I love more.
Benefit Gimme Brow | £20.50 (full size)
I don't actually talk about this all that much because brow gel doesn't really excite me but this is such a good one! I've not tried a brow gel like it before. It has a really small comb that makes it really easy to precisely comb through the hairs, without getting product everywhere. It actually really does make the brows look thicker in the most natural way possible. I'm really amazed by how this works! It doesn't make the brows super crispy or sticky either but they do remain firmly in place all day. It's brilliant.
Huda Warm Brown Obsessions Palette | £25
If you're a regular reader I think most of you will know how I feel about warm tones and Huda eyeshadows. I find myself reaching for this little palette a lot. It contains 9 warmed toned shadows including a shimmer shade. I love this palette because I do sometimes find larger palettes a little overwhelming, especially when I'm in a rush. But this palette has perfect curated shades, that you don't even really need to think about the shades complimenting each other. The formula of all the shades is so creamy, buttery and blend with ease. It's a fab little palette.
Charlotte Tilbury Primer | £30
I'm a glowing primer lover through and through. I do enjoy others but I just love the way glowing primers make my base makeup look so much better. One that has become a staple in my makeup bag is this one from Charlotte Tilbury. This primer adds a warmth to the complexion and makes it look more alive. While giving the skin a blurred effect. It makes a great base for makeup.
Dolcee Maxlash Volumizer Mascara* | £17
It's rare for me to get excited about mascara but I've been loving this one. Dolcee isn't a brand I'd come across until I'd received it in a Cohorted Beauty Box and I'm really impressed with the brand. This mascara in particular has a large bristle brush that is similar to the Too Faced Better Than Sex. But this mascara is far better. It gives the lashes amazing length and volume in just one coat. The formula doesn't smudge or budge either. It's just a brilliant all round mascara that ticks all the boxes.
Tarte Shape Tape Concealer | £22
Does this concealer really need an introduction? But I've really fallen hard for this concealer. I just can't find anything that comes close to how good this is. The coverage is brilliant, while the formula is so creamy and easy to blend. I don't find creasing or moving a problem with concealer. And it works well on any problem areas. It's a makeup bag staple that I couldn't be without.
Bareminerals Bare Pro Foundation* | £27.99
Another product that has been in heavy rotation is this foundation from Bareminerals. This foundation has good medium coverage but what I love about this is how natural it looks. It has a satin finish that almost undetectable on the skin. It's like a your skin but better foundation. It has brilliant wear time to. The formula is very unique. It almost sets itself, you can add powder and it doesn't look dry or anything it just means that this isn't budging! I'm really surprised I don't hear more people talk about this because it so good.
There's a few products in my makeup bag that I'm obsessed with.
