Makeup Lately

It's been I while since I shared one of these Makeup Lately posts. I noticed I wasn't really changing my everyday makeup all that much and I didn't want it to become repetitive. But it's back. So here's the makeup I've been reaching for lately.

Charlotte Tilbury Hollywood Flawless Filter | £30

I've been really enjoying glowing skin and this primer from Charlotte Tilbury is good skin in a bottle! This is perfect for adding radiance and warmth to the skin. I find this quite hydrating but it doesn't make me look sweaty throughout the day. Makeup blends easily over the top and the radiance can still be seen underneath. It's a great primer!

Maybelline Superstay Foundation | £9.99

Because of the intense heat we've been having in the UK I've been wearing a foundation that I know will hold up to the heat so I've been reaching for this offering from Maybelline. This has amazing full coverage, it covers pretty much everything but it looks so natural on the skin. It has a nice satin finish. The formula is really easy to blend and this lasts all day, even in 30 degree heat!

Too Faced Super Coverage Born This Way Concealer | £24

For concealer I've been reaching for this. It has a brilliant full coverage, dark circles, blemishes and pigmentation are no match for this! It has a light creamy consistency that blends in so easily and has a satin finish. This is very similar to my greatly loved Tarte Shape Tape but you get double the amount of product with this one. A whopping 15 ml! Making this actually really good value for money.

Huda Beauty Easy Bake Powder | £28

This Huda powder has quickly become one of my favourite powders. This is marketed towards baking which it is really good for but I actually like to use a light dusting all over my face, to set my makeup. And it works brilliantly! I love how blurring this is and brightening at the same time. The powder itself is finely milled and sets makeup perfectly. Giving the skin an almost filtered finish. It does give the skin a matte finish but it's not dry or cakey looking. Nor does it feel drying on the skin.

L'oreal Liquid Highlighter | £9.99

I can't seem to put this liquid highlighter from L'oreal down! I love the natural yet illuminated look this gives the skin. I have the shade Champagne, which is a classic Champagne colour. This can be mixed with foundation to give the skin an all over dewy finish or on the high points of the face, which is how I like to use it. It's a great affordable highlighter.

Urban Decay Bronzer | £23

As it's summer I've been going for a bronzey, sun kissed look and I'd completely forgotten how good this Urban Decay bronzer is for adding warmth to the face. I have the shade Bronzed  which is a warm toned bronzer that's not Orange in tone. The formula is really creamy and it applies easily to the face. I like to dust over my cheeks, forehead and nose for a gorgeous sun kissed glow.

Dose Of Colours Eyeshadow | £17

I've been all about easy to apply eyeshadows and it doesn't get much easier than this from Dose of Colours. I actually think these are gel liners but I really like them as eyeshadows. Especially the shade Take a Hike. Which is a warm toned Mustard Brown colour. I just take some on a large fluffy brush, apply all over the lid and then blend into the crease - job done! Once this has set it doesn't move either.

L'oreal Liquid Lipstick | £8.99

I'm still rocking a nude lip 99% of the time. And the L'oreal liquid lipstick in the shade Sweettooth   has been my go to. It's a lovely warm creamy, nude. The formula is incredible. It's so pigmented and applies with ease to the lips. I like that the formula isn't to runny. It has a satin finish which I really like and once it's dry it's really comfortable on the lips. It's not drying either and it lasts a good 6 hours before it starts to break down!

So that's the makeup I've been reaching for lately.

Have you tried any of these? What are your thoughts?

Until next time...
