Best in Beauty August

August actually felt super long. It was my birthday at the beginning of the month which felt like ages ago! I'm so ready for autumn though. Today I have a few products I've been loving throughout the month.

Kate Sommervile Glow Facial | £72 (full size)

Sometimes I just don't have time or I can't be bothered to leave a face mask on for 20 minutes or so. So I've been reaching for this little bad boy. Which works in just 2 minutes! It's an AHA exfoliating mask that also uses scrubby particles to brighten and refine the skin. The directions say to apply to a cleansed wet face and wait 2 minutes. So I apply this then clean my teeth and my skin is so smooth and radiant looking. I love the scent of this to. It's a great little mask if you're in a rush.

Pixi Nourishing Sleep Mask | £18

I don't know what has happened to my skin but it has turned so dry over the past couple of weeks. Luckily this has helped massively! This is a super nourishing overnight mask. I use it as the last step in my skincare routine and it really helps to sooth the dryness. As well as leaving it plump and supple.

Wet N Wild Highlighter | £3.50

Wet N Wild came to Beauty Bay at the beginning of the month which is so exciting because it hadn't been available in the UK before. I picked up one of these highlighters which everyone raves about. And I can see why! This looks stunning on the cheeks. It isn't chunky or glittery at all. I have the shade Blossom Glow which looks quite Pink in the pan but it's actually a silvery colour. It's not an over the top blinding highlighter, but it can still be seen. I've been reaching for it almost everyday since I got it.

Iconic Setting Spray | £18.50

I can't believe it took me so long to try this spray, I knew I would love it! This is a setting spray, primer and makeup refresh all in one. It contains light reflecting particles that give the skin the most luminous glow. I wouldn't say this is a makeup extender though but I don't mind that because I love the finish so much. I have the shade Glow which is the darker option out of the two available. It doesn't translate as dark as it looks in the bottle though, it gives the skin a kind of sunkissed dewy look. I'm obsessed.

Guerlain Primer* | £40.99

I was completely blown away by this primer. I wasn't expecting to love this as much as I do. It's a hydrating and firming primer that has Gold flecks in it to give the skin radiance. Now this won't make you look like you've had a face life but this is actually somewhat firming. My skin does feel firmer when I use this and so smooth. My base makeup applies beautifully over the top of this. And my skin is hydrated all day.

Huda Easy Bake Powder | £28

I've never really been into baking so I didn't think I would be on board with this powder but I love it. I don't bake my under eyes with this though I just press the powder into the skin with a damp Beauty Blender. I find this sets my concealer all day without the dryness I get from baking. I have been loving baking the sides of my nose! I just apply the powder down the sides, wait a few minutes, dust off and it effortlessly contours my nose! This powder is actually super brightening to. It really helps to lighten my dark circles.

BareMinerals Bare Pro Foundation* | £27.99

Last but not least I've been loving this foundation throughout August. This is a medium coverage matte foundation that has incredible staying power. This is matte but I like to make it more dewy with some illuminating drops. The formula is really creamy and easy to blend into the skin. It works well with a brush or a Beauty Blender.  It doesn't sink into any fine lines or exaggerate any dry areas, nor does it dry my skin out throughout the day. It's just a great solid all round foundation?

So there's a few things I've been loving throughout August.

Have you tried any these? What have you been loving?

Until next time...
