Makeup Lately

It has been so long time since I shared my makeup lately with you guys! But I'm back with another edition and some exciting products to share with guys. So let's jump straight in.

J.One Jelly Pack Primer | £32

For primer I've been reaching for this loads. This can be easily mistaken for a skincare product but it makes such a good primer. It does have loads of skincare benefits to, it's hydrating and has long term firming benefits. It has quite a thick gel like texture that works best when pressed into the skin. It's kind of thick and doesn't move on the skin when rubbed but when pressed in it works fine. It gives the skin a tacky base that makeup literally sticks to! It blurs pores and gives my skin such a smooth canvas. I find it really does help my makeup last longer to. It's a makeup extending primer that meets a hydrating one.

Beauty Blender Bounce Foundation | £32

I recently reviewed this here, so I wont go into to much detail. But I love the formula of this! I hate the packaging but the formula of this foundation is so nice. It has a satin finish with medium build able coverage. I don't find it drying and it sits really well on my dehydrated skin. It works so well with the J.One primer and it's been my to go base combo that I can't stop reaching for.

Hourglass Ambient Lighting Powder Trio | £56

If you're a regular reader you will know this is hands down my favourite powder ever! If you have dry / dehydrated skin you will know the struggle of trying to find a good powder that isn't drying and that doesn't exaggerate dry patches. But the Hourglass ones set my makeup brilliantly and aren't drying at all. They also give the skin the most amazing, natural, lit from within glow. They are pricy but well worth every penny.

Hourglass Bronzer | £45

I've heard so many good things about Hourglass bronzers so I finally got one and I can't put it down. The shade Diffused Bronze Light is my favourite. I've been loving this to add warmth and glow to my cheeks. Like the Ambient powders it give the skin a gorgeous glow. But not in an over the top shimmery way, just a healthy luminous glow. The shade is the perfect warm colour but it's not to warm. It's perfect.

Hourglass Blush | £22

I'm having a bit of a thing for Hourglass moment. And this blush is another product of theirs I've been loving. The shade Diffused Heat has been my go to. It does look kind of bold and scary in the pan but it translates to a really pretty natural flush colour on the cheeks. The formula is so smooth, it applies beautifully to the cheeks. It also really meshes with my other base products to give a natural finish. I have no issues with wear time either.

Benefit Precisely My Brow Pencil | £20.50

I've finally swayed away from my greatly loved NYX Micro Brow pencil. As much as a love it I seem to go through it really quickly. Although this Benefit one is slightly more expensive it's lasted me way longer. And I prefer the finish of this one to. It looks so natural, yet it gives the brows a full and defined effect. It has a spooly on one end to. The pencil itself is super fine, making it really easy to achieve natural looking hairs.

MeMi Eyeshadow Palette* | £22

For eyeshadow I've been reaching for this palette. Just look at how gorgeous those warm tones are! It has a good range of shimmers and mattes. The mattes are velvety soft and blend with ease. The shimmer shades really pack a punch in terms of pigment to. I've been really enjoying a super simple eye look. So I like to blend Finesse through the crease and apply In Check all over the lid and I'm good to go. The shadows don't fade or crease throughout the day. It's a fab little palette. You can buy MeMi makeup from Showcase (here) you can also get 10% site wide with the code leanne10.

Glamfox Fluerissant Lip Glow GL06* | £23

I think this is the most beautiful lip balm I've seen in my life! Not only is this pretty it is super hydrating to. It has a subtle wash of colour that adjust depending on your PH Balance. On me it gives my lips a subtle wash of Pink with a delicate sheen. I've been loving applying this before matte lipsticks to give my lips some extra hydration. I've also been using it alone on no makeup days. This is also available from Showcase and you can get 10% off with the code leanne10

Mac Honey Love Lipstick | £17.50

Another lipstick I've been completely obsessed with is Mac's Honey Love. It's such a gorgeous nude colour that has a slight Pink undertone. The shade is from their matte line which I really rate. It's creamy, pigmented, comfortable while having good staying power. It's the perfect throw on and go shade that will go with pretty much every makeup look.

So that's the makeup I've been reaching for lately.

Have you tried any of these? What are your thoughts?

Until next time...
